If you notice GP is suddenly crashing when you try to email documents or update a customer/vendor email address, check out the Microsoft post below regarding the latest Office Update (released 12/2/2018) causing conflicts.
To confirm if you’re Office is on the problematic version, do the following:
1. Open an Office application (i.e. Outlook, Word, etc.)
2. Click on “File” in the upper left corner
3. Click on “Office Account”. This will bring up your Account information
4. Look on the right hand side of the screen. There should be an “About Outlook” section. If your Version is 1811 (Build number varies by Standard vs. Insider), then that’s your culprit.
Microsoft provides two recommendations – roll back the office update or modify/repair GP (be prepared to have to reinstall/activate) third parties!!
